I dont think theres anyone that doesnt like Dobbs. Everyone knows hes elite on the ground and can make plays. Hes just inaccurate with throws that are over 20 yards downfield

Not sure that's the rule. I believe as long as the player is upright and inbounds, the ball can be anywhere. It's when the player leaves his feet and extends is where you look at the ball. Just from watching through the years.

I agree - want to see him turned loose. That's why I want to know about his authority to audible. I know he can count the number of guys in the box, see the secondary coverage, etc. Give him the ability to take over the game. Just work on his footwork and passing in the off season so he can make the deeper throws more accurately.
