As someone universally negative, this is interesting to see.Every. Single. Year.
"We lost players...we have a new coach OR we'll be fine...we have talent! Blahblahblah" regardless B&M even though every single soul says we're a 5-7 win team and Pitt is a unanimous favorite.
People freakin flip on a dime once in the trenches. Sad.
The only thing they’re right about is the scoreboard. Which right now is all that matters, but look at the points we’ve left on the board due to QB misfires and penalties. The potential is obvious. Find a QB who can hit the WIDE OPEN man and we’re rolling. Frustrating 2Q, but pretty excited about the future right now..I guess all those talking heads were right. Again.
We should learn to listen
Unless you expect another blocked punt for basically a td, you can't expect a repeat performance to yield 20 more points. The offense has obviously missed some big plays, but I’ll take putting up 20 in the first half against basically anyone. Defense has to be better. They are getting no pressure and have only come remotely close to creating one turnover through 6 quarters. They’ve gotta make some plays.
Weird bit of cognitive dissonance hoping a 5-7 win team will look like a 9-10 win team game in and out. You'd think by now fans would know what this level of team would look like and play like. Idk hard to explain outside of that, at least to me.Sad and kind of bizarre
Best part about today. Got a bike ride in. Got to play with kids. Pruitt woulda put up 17 and been done. We get ball back to start half.Tons of mistakes, penalties, and missed opportunities and yet we are only down 7. Let’s see how the coaches and players handle the second half. It will be a great test for the coaches and players. Fingers crossed
Part of the reason they're wide open is because Milton can throw it 70 yards. That stretches everything out. A QB who can't throw that far means the wr won't always be that open. The Tillman debacle being the exception. The only thing they’re right about is the scoreboard. Which right now is all that matters, but look at the points we’ve left on the board due to QB misfires and penalties. The potential is obvious.
