That was a great play by the TE but a lapse in defense got him way too open. Rag the guy who sold out and missed the tackle if you want but he was left wide open. Someone busted coverage, and this defensive scheme the way it's designed and implemented leaves pockets that can be exploited, it's a problem entering the second year that needs fixed.
 
Gotta get more talent on defense. Clearly lacking there. Scheme is terrible too. Out of positioned players etc it’s just bad all around on that side
 
We need an Al Wilson type guy leading the defense..we just don’t have that..So we just need to score a ton of points.As long as they win..🤷‍♀️
 
Hadden is playing well. Martinez isn’t responsible for players not tackling how they have been taught or covering like they have been taught.

He will be responsible if he doesn’t pull Burrell though.

Martinez is the secondary coach. Our secondary is bad. Go back to the Ball state game. If they had a good QB, they would have scored more. Martinez sucks and so does Tim Banks.

Look at Pitts secondary. Does it look anywhere near as bad as ours? No.
