This QB class being so weak is why I worry Hooker leaves.

Pickett, Corral, Ridder really the only guys I feel are “better” than him. And he’s got better size than Corral.

Mel’s got him in his top 8 QBs already.

If Hooker hadn't pooped the bed against UGA, I would be far more worried about him leaving this year. I think there is a better chance he stays.

Stop looking at it from the orange tinted fan glasses, and look at it from the player POV.

Ya grad transferred to UT, assuming you’d have one season left to play. And now in a very shallow QB class your name despite not playing 2 games is in the top 8 for the mock draft. He’s gonna get a combine invite and he’s going to have a great chance to get drafted high, next year that’s an unknown. Between a better QB class, potential for an injury, or just having a bad season with new WRs etc.

As a fan I absolutely want him back, but I also see the logic and chance he leaves.
