How is he suppose to get timing down when they only focused on hooker and Milton since the end of fall camp? Give him first team reps and let’s see how he does. If I played with our second team in college I would have looked worse too. You develop rhythm and feel for players by playing with them. Not hard to understand. He isn’t where he needs to be at all, but he also hasn’t gotten near the play that the other two have.

He isnt getting that because he hasnt earned it. Hes throwing smoke screens into the first row of the stands. He threw one good deep ball, and looks like the others. He isnt completely immobile, but hes not Milton or Hooker. If he wants to earn better reps he needs to be consistent, even with their inconsistency Milton and espically Hooker provides you with something with their legs that Bailey cant. It's TN Tech 4th string, theyre picked to finish second to last in the OVC, he should look good against them no matter whos on the field. Instead he made it obvious why hes last on the QB depth chart.

Milton can do everything Hooker can(Hooker runs better, but Milton can still run), plus he has the arm. If he stays calm and hits it, he should absolutely be our starter. The problem seems to be he gets that in-game adrenaline rush and starts overthrowing everyone. So I honestly don't think it matter which one is running the offense right now.

If you think that, then you are dead wrong. I watch games with people who never played and people who played at the highest level. It is craziness what non sports players say or understand.

Sure, some who never played don’t know anything. But just because one didn’t play though doesn’t automatically mean they don’t know anything. There are plenty of people who never really played who understand the game and sports. It’s not a blanket statement. Just not.

My opinion is that all three of our QBs are below par for SEC play.

Milton probably has the most potential. Hooker is probably the best right now. The gap isn’t all that large in either case, so I’m not really mad at the choice to start either of them.


Mediocre QBs aside, my biggest takeaway from today is that I think #14 on defense is going to be very good. Looking forward to watching Charles develop.

We can learn a lot from this game. It's pretty easy to see why Milton/Hooker are slotted where they are.

I am satisfied at this point, considering pre-season expectations. They continue to show improvement and the capability to fix small issues from week to week. They play hard every down, through every down, they are competitive, and they have fun.

The coaches are also proving to be worthy. They scheme well, coach players up well, limit bone-headed calls, recognize errors and fix them, and plan to win games now, not next year.

talk about overreaction. WMU has a likely NFL draft pick at QB. They came in and simply played better than Pitt. Upsets happen sometimes. They’d still beat South Carolina, maybe Mizzou and UK. They’re the 5th best team we play

I have a feeling people believed the hype that Pitt was a good team, and they may be, but our game should've been a blowout in our favor. I wish we could have that game back, so many missed opportunities to dominate Pitt.
