I’d think the architect of multiple high scoring offenses knows what he’s doing.

Just guessing but prob not calling a lot of pass plays bc 1) big lead and 2) the OL will get Nico killed
Well he isn’t our starter and he calls Milton plenty of quick sideline throws so at the minimum give him some damn run.

I’m not sure what Heupels deal is. That’s BS play calling and litterally not preparing Nico in anyway. He’s our number 2 and has no in game experience if needed to be thrown into action.
He’s dropped back several times. Thornton dropped his first play. His head was turned on another. He was going on 4th and 13 until the pre-snap penalty. Are we really doing this? Really?

Can’t remember which game I was watching but the ref announced the call to the side of the field with no press box so his back was to the camera.

That’s the level of incompetence we’re dealing with.

I’m pretty confident we’re not dealing with just incompetence. Some of the officiating issues we’ve seen this season have been way too egregious to be incompetence, and I’m not just talking about our games.

I’m just confused, last year they’d let Joe come in & sling it.

Nico comes in and they only let him throw on obvious passing downs. Like what gives? Just put Gaston in if you’re only gonna hand the ball off.

We had a competent offensive line last season. This year…not so much. Heupel is probably just trying not to get Nico decapitated in garbage time in case Joe were to get hurt.
