We were essentially playing with 10 defenders Saturday night. Jumper blocked himself ever single MF play!
Glad I'm not the only one that thinks this. That screen play on 3rd and 11, he literally ran to the blocker and held onto him, almost like he thought the blocker was the wide receiver. Strange play.
Pretty much all of the LBs have been playing very poorly. The only one I've seen really taking on blocks like they are supposed to is Cortez and then he takes half the plays off.
In the 2nd half against Mizzou, pretty much every play you could count on their C or G getting to one of our LBs about 2-3 yards downfield and then the H-back getting to the other at the same depth. Our guys never did meet them in the hole or try to shuck the blocks like they are supposed to.
I thought Cortez had been playing much better until this past game.
