I'm just pointing out that with all that talent they are not going anywhere for awhile. Their defense was not good this year, but they are young.

Sure, as long as Saban is there. But how much longer does he have left? Tua is gone. LSU and UGA are rolling. UF is coming up. UT has a real coach for once. And Dabo/Clemson basically walk into the playoffs annually now unchallenged and ready after Bama has had to play a much more difficult schedule. I think it's either retire now and go out mostly on top, or linger around for a while and risk people comparing him to Bobby Bowden who hung around too long.

I don't see Saban giving up yet, he wants Bears record and imo he still has a couple years as king of the castle before he truly doesn't even have a chance
