'22 Recruiting Forum: Official Vanderbilt Pregame/Game Thread

You guys will learn that our offense is predicated on numbers in the box and man coverage. Always been that way. We don’t throw many intermediate routes.

While true, we need to hit the ones when they are there. Hooker missed a lot as well. I'm hoping with the potential TE transfer and Davis and Echols coming in that changes things. Not sure Heupel has ever had a truly elite TE but I don't have all the names in front of me.

When the plays work “yes Huepel/golesh is the 🐐 he schemes everyone open” when they don’t “this is terrible all they do is go deep”
And to be fair… they’ve all been open lol. I just don’t hold the downpour against Milton. First game starting in two years in these conditions, I’d rather see how he plays in the bowl before I judge too harshly. But it’s his fault, not playcalling.

He has overthrown open receivers 10 times. He won’t get those chances against good teams.

coaches need to keep him awake the night before a game so he will be tired and weak.

To the first part: We always have guys open. Literally every game.

And to the second part: 😂😂 that’s awesome
