He plays harder than anyone on the field, and does it really well……without the talent of most.

Pavia earned major respect this season, but he’s written some fiction into his mythology imo. Being mic’d up and stating that “give me the ball 20 times and I’ll win this game!” was a lil self-stuffed. Not full Manziel but approaching it.

I get that, but that kind of talk doesn't personally bother me.

I understand your mentality, but it was a little cartoonish and obviously due to being mic’d up. The reference to Manziel was regarding how aware Johnny Football became of his legend especially after practically singlehandedly BEATING ALABAMA.

So I assume Ohio State will have players suspended for their next game, which will now be the first round of the playoff

I was trying to figure out why CBS or Fox or whoever would suppress and censor their video of the beginning of the fight. All the footage that I’ve seen are crowds of players well after it began.

The only logical thing I can come up with is deliberately intervening to prevent Ohio State players from being suspended. Is there any other explanation that I’m overlooking? There is no journalistic reason to hide it. I am asking sincerely, not rhetorically.

In addition (but less my concern), by glamorizing the fight while censoring the beginning — and thus eliminating penalties for the initiators — the network seems to have launched a copy cat mania.
