McGill, honestly interested in the reasons you (and anyone else) see us “struggling” with this one. OL, not sold on QB1, defense?

While I don’t think we are without faults and could see some first game jitters I just think we come out firing this year. I think the running game alone will be something we can really lean into if Joe starts slow and we can’t get the passing game going. I also expect a solid showing from the defense (like Kentucky last year type performance) and will be disappointed if they don’t look pretty sharp.

I think we start out slow on O and that’s not all on QB. Having 3 new OL going up against a decent DL and after a bit, we roll to 36 is not bad. I think UVA won’t score much at all so we win by 30. I think Joe will be fine and do well but he will take a sack from time to time and stall drives so with new rules, we will score a lot but not average 50 per game.

Don’t be a wuss, Nick, we may not have land in Back, but we’ve parked our big orange bus right on the courthouse lawn and we’re gonna hang around until we can pay some back taxes on someone’s land.

Your 2023 Vols: Many
Yahoos: Way not as many

I know college football is back when I’m watching Monmouth highlights “scouting” Virginia’s new qb.. lower competition but Muskett can kind of sling it.
38-13 vols though
Maybe we should worry about UVA, they are bringing a Muskett. . .

Imo our running game will determine if this is going to be a couple of td win or 5+ blowout.
