I really want to know what happens if both teams are undefeated 12-0 and 12-0 ranked 1 and 2 and the SEC Championship is close? Do they both get to playoffs? Do they play back to back games against each other?

Jones inherited a far worse situation than McElwain. He was improving every year until 2016. McElwain has been going backwards. I get, from an administrative standpoint, why Tennessee would have waited until now versus UF.

It was *really* bad, but I think O'Brien did way more to stabilize their situation, and plus it helped that the NCAA went "lol never mind" with a lot of the sanctions.

Not really. Had a good NFL coach who got them through the big issues prior to arriving. Discipline and talent were in place.

I didn't like Franklin at all when he was at Vanderbilt but that guy is an outstanding coach. I appreciate a team that is well coached. Just wish we could get someone like that in here.

Absolutely. There are options. We’ll see if they hire the right guy. Of course, they haven’t even fired Butch yet. And who knows, they might let him come back next year.
