Even Larry whiffed badly on the AD hire. No one is posting on volnation with rock solid info. There's at least 2 degrees separation with all the insiders.

Yep. Staff is supposed to have a meeting tonight but they always do. Prob people mixed up on that

If you are waiting for Griff to break news you’re in trouble. Griff isn’t getting spoon fed from Jones like people think. He’s just a goofball. He loves taking the side of the coach and arguing with fans. Always has. That’s his schtick.

For some reason, it's forgotten how silly he had everyone looking when he made the Baseball hire. Brice was in process of writing an article about one coach meanwhile Currie was with Vitello getting a deal signed.... crazy.

Couple things that baseball hire tells me. Currie tells nobody anything unless he wants you to look elsewhere. Football hire will have a bit of difference to it as he has to involve the big $ boosters since they care more about this than a baseball hire. So some leaks will happen but no telling which will be real.

The biggest thing... he values ability to recruit at a high level. He made that clear hiring one of the best recruiters in the country on baseball.

Makes me feel like Frost would be his top guy like LWS has said. A young guy that is ready to light the world on fire.

Like I said he ALWAYS takes the coach side and battles fans. He did it with pearl, Chavis, Fulmer here. Did it with dantonio at mich state while he was there. He is a coach worshipper and he loves to argue with fans.

He isn’t butch’s puppet. He just loves doing what he’s doing. Arguing with fans.
