Could be wrong but I could have sworn that I had seen he played under Belichick as well.

Apparently, the UT ADMIN doesn't give a rip about the fanbase that is ultimately funding them and is going to ride it out as long as possible with Butch, for purely financial reasons(he's not accepting walking away or a compromise and only wants the buy-out), all while the fan-base dwindles, recruits leave, and the players lose hope.... other than that you haven't missed anything...

It sounds like Gruden never gave serious consideration to coaching in college. Why would he not just tell us that up front instead of wasting all of our time?

I listened to the game on the radio. It didn't sound good. A lot of Tim Priest's commentary consisted of sad moans.
