It's going to happen. He looks good back there. He's strong with good vision and long speed.
I was getting very tired of seeing nothing but stop, cut, stop, look for a lane, get tackled (by the other dude). Just find and fully commit to a lane, lower your shoulder, and bulldoze through at your highest speed. That is what I saw from Evan last week and I loved it.
Btw, has Gaulden played any? I know they have McDowell at OLB now, correct? What are you thoughts at moving him there and on Gaulden so far this year, BB?

He's made some good ST plays.
Evan definitely looks good back there, hopefully he got his freshman fumbles out of the way with that 2nd KR and he's good from here.
Devrin didn't have amazing ball security, he just got tackled by the first guy, so there was no chance of someone hitting him unexpectedly from a different angle.
Evan Berry will break one before the year out. Bama stopped kicking to him after one return.
SN: hope he hurry up and learns the defense he's needed at FS.
So Evan fits at FS?
Gaulden should be ready next year if he just needs to bulk up. Gonna be a tackling machine again.
McDowell I am absolutely excited for. I thought they moved him to OLB? Maybe they moved him back. I dunno. I always though he would be a great safety with TKjr. Those two could be siiiiick together.
Bump. This is like us losing JRM. Skai is very good
My final prediction for this game 27-20 Vols
This is not the case at all IMO. Only thing I agree with is being undersized.Skai is good, but not that good. He's undersized at LB, and while he is the leading tackler from what I understand others are right there with him. I've heard his backup is supposed to be more talented and better built as a run stopper but inexperienced.
