I was there too! It was my first UT game! I was in A (the visitors section) singing Rocky Top all night long! We looked great from where I was sitting.

Keeton was 100% till we started beating down on him. Not buying that crap. He's just overrated.

You have the right to your opinion. He seemed very hesitant and slow. The only time he ran the ball the entire 1st half is when we flushed him out of the pocket. I don't know if he kept the ball one single time on the zone read...for a DT QB, that seems strange. He was also limping on that leg after a couple of the hits we put on him. Just didn't look full speed to me.

And I'm not taking anything away from our defense. I thought they played lights out.

I'm happy with the win. Our offensive line needs more work. Our defense looked much better than any for the past five or so years. The overall team speed improvement is very impressive especially on defense. Worley played a very good game for the most part. I'm pleased with the play of the freshmen, the coaching staff apparently pushed them to learn and get better. The fans were really loud for most of the game and the 3rd down noise was awesome and the student section which is to the right from where I sit was rockin' the whole game. Hope we can see a lot of improvement in the Arky State game.

Something surprised I haven't seen more of, I love that TE slant/"quick out" route we were running. It couldn't be stopped and was good for 7+ yards every time.

Hope you understand that I was posting that in jest. I would never post something derogatory about a player because they have reached a level of competition I only dreamed about in my youth.

I knew that.

I just used that opportunity to post that story. He's a funny kid. I think he got nervous. He grew up loving UT and worshiping Neyland Stadium. Can you imagine how he felt as a 18 YO kid playing on the field where his heroes played???? I'm so glad he got another opportunity to kick in this game. Got that out of his system, now it's time for business.

Just wanted to make sure. I do understand how he felt, not first hand but very close second hand. I liked what Coach Jones said in his press conference about AM coming over to the sideline and said I got this coach that kick is behind me.
