Yep, people don't seem to understand that some of those are run pass options where Dobbs makes the wrong read.

Can I agree? 99% is all within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. 98% is behind the line of scrimmage. I have 0 faith it will work long term.

We run that same play 7 - 10 times a game.

There is NO reason for that. It's likelihood of being a positive play is low.

If Pearson and Pig can't make things happen, it's a play calling issue. I understand it's Dobbs read, but it shouldn't even be an option.

Our screen calling has always been awful under Jake

Because the line was blocking for counter. The TE and OG were both pulling. It's called a packaged play. Every bubble screen or now we've run all season is like that. Dobbs can handoff or throw the screen. He's only suppsoed to throw the screen if we have numerical advantage outside. Right there they obviously had enough defenders outside to cover it.
