Recruiting In The SEC

Re: Have we passed Tennessee in talent?
Yes! And, we have always had higher ethical standards and higher IQ's than their fans. The surgeon general says "rap" music and "rocky top" cause retardation! Explains the lower IQ in Tenn!

Based solely on recruiting rankings the last four years, Tennessee has averaged the 18th ranked class in America while South Carolina has averaged the 22nd ranked class. That's not much difference at all.

Based on the on-the-field results the past four seasons, I'd argue the two teams are very similar in overall talent level. The series is split 2-2, and the games have been very competitive with the exception of last season.

Jarvis Giles was the #3 all purpose back in the country. Not much difference there. I'll take Giles anyday because of his character. Bryce Brown's recruitment to Tennessee looked more like an NFL free agent deal than a high school kid picking a college. Sketchy all the way around.

Kiffin will get murdered this year in the SEC. He's picked a fight he can't win.

If Garcia protects the ball and we get a break here or there we enough talent to win 9 games.

Berry's a stud but the Gamecocks have the better secondary, as well as LBs and DL.

If your QBs are so great, then why did they receive death threats last year from your classless and clueless fan base? Other than Eric Berry and a couple of incoming freshmen who might land you soon on probation if your Lame coach doesn't do it first, what do you have? USC has definitely caught UcheaT as evidenced by our recent record and recruiting classes, and is on its way to pass the Viles.

By the way, how did you enjoy watching virtually everyone else, including USC, play in their bowl games last year? Even Vandy and UK have just about caught the Viles!

I did a little research on last years recriuting. Scout ranked Bryce Brown the # 1 overall running back. David Oku the # 1 All-Purpose Back and Jarvis Giles the #3 All- Purpose Back. Also they ranked David Oku # 9 overall running back and Jarvis Giles # 21 overall running back. Rivals ranked Bryce Brown the # 1 overall player in the nation David Oku # 97 and Jarvis Giles # 121. So you guys can sit there and say we're even at running back but really we exceed you in that particular position. In the scout top 100 Tennessee had 3 players compared to USC 2. We both had 1 5-star prospect and UT had 12 4 star prospects compared to USC 7. Scout ranked our class 8th and USC 13. In the rivals top 100 UT had 5 players and 4 in the top 80. USC had 3 in the top 100 but 0 in the top 80. Also UT had 8 players in the top 250 while USC has 5. UT had 2 5 star prospects and USC had 0 according to Rivals. Rivals ranked Ut 10 and USC 12. I will say Garcia is a little better than Crompton but to say USCs defense is better than ours is laughable. If you look at college football power rankings on rivals College Football Power Rankings neither UT or USC has any top 25 D-Lineman. Ut has the 11th best linebacker in Rico McCoy and USC has the 12th with Eric Norwood. So when you say UT has no one like Eric Norwood that is False. Defensive backs Ut has # 1 in Eric Berry and USC doesn't have anyone in the top 25( the rankings are only 1-25). With Defensive coaches UT is # 6 with Monte Kiffin and USC is # 14 with Ellis Johnson. As for Offense UT and USC have no Top 25 QB's, RB's, or WR's. South Carolina has the 22nd best TE with Weslye Saunders and UT has no one in the top 25. UT has the 20th best O-Lineman with Josh McNeil and USC has no one in the top 25. The link doesn't work but if you Google Rivals Power Rankings it should be the first one.

This is what I posted at that retarded website that USCjr. was better than us.

It shows how fall we have fallen when we are arguing with SC about who is better or who has the most talent.

NinjaVol:

LOL... Definitely not.

Do you have the #1 and #9 RB in current class? NO.. UT Does

M. Hardesty is ten time your current RB's

N. Stephens our backup QB is twice as good as Garcia.

"Do you have an ERIC BERRY.... Nope no where close.

So currently no... according to the last recruiting class... You still won't.

NOW.. You did kick our arse last year due to coaching...but not talent."

thats stretching it

untrue. Auburn fans accused bama of creating a fake account, but Trooper's words are what they are
provide me the link that shows Troop saying
there would be 12 commits.

Dont even waste your time, the only he's said is that there will be fireworks in July.

The Stars and Stripes thing may be real, but it will end up being hilarious when they don't get the commitments .

And that's exactly why Bammers made the stuff up about getting 12 recruits, so they'd have a reason to :lolabove: at Auburn
