I just would like to make this statement to everyone on here from apparent MODs and people who post with information and opinions every day on this site. I am a frequent visitor and a possible poster once in a while with mostly opinionayed comments, but if I ready something I will post it.

I would like to say that I have never been so disappointed in the fanbase of University of Tennessee. I don't care if this is our biggest rival or a team which has no relevant meaning to our program. This guy may be one of the most hated people to our program over the year's but he has a university, a program and a heart. He has just beat us in general and not by cheating but by pure athletic talent and coaching ability.

I have read post such as

"merry christmas to us"

"the greatest christmas present ever"

and worse things.......

let's just keep it to recruiting and information about our targets and keep it off the person's family or personal life. Let's stop being a bunch of bama or gator fans and prove that we are truly Volnation.

Non-life threatening stress related heart problem according to ESPN. I'm sorry he has a stressful job and it got to him. Happens to people every day in this country. No one wishes him any harm. And frankly, I'm disappointed we don't get another shot at him. I wish we had another shot at Tebow too. But that's how it is.

let's stop being a bunch of j/o and win this one actually on the field.

He has stomach ulcers. Do you know that you are shedding tears over a man who quit his job because he has stomach ulcers?

Most people have been respectful, but there has been some trash that has posted some unclassy comments. I hear what your saying, but since they are a hated rival of ours and he was their head man, I'm glad we don't have to face him anymore. I'll never admit it very openly, but Urban was a helluva coach.

actually I am not shedding tears, I just don't think a sports rivalry should come down to a petty thought. You can take any situation you ready in media and make a simple pathetic little boy and use school yard insults OR you can take your team into the Swamp and beat them down.

I prefer the latter.

I don't think any of us care for the guy as an opponent, but it's not personal.

Hey I had a heart attack and open heart surgery in 2000 buy I never quit my job because I knew someone would be in line for it.... so stop being a cry baby and yes I am glad he is gone and I hope we sign all of his recruits

I pray for his health and think he is doing the right thing for his family.
As for UF, they should be thankful that it is not serious instead of all the crying. But, all the crying is what Meyer has given them for years.

Those statements were made based on the possible recruits we could get because of Meyer stepping down. Not that he has a medical condition and we are happy for that. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Meyer and his family and hope for nothing but the best.

With coaches stepping down due to whatever reason, (this reason being very unfortunate) schools will lose recruits and they will end up signing elsewhere.

I love all the self-righteous kooks that post from time to time. No one is wishing Meyer ill-health.

I wish we could steal all of their recruits -- and I hope Florida never wins another SEC game. Ever.

Hey LIvol... :cray::cray:
