Those statements were made based on the possible recruits we could get because of Meyer stepping down. Not that he has a medical condition and we are happy for that. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Meyer and his family and hope for nothing but the best.

With coaches stepping down due to whatever reason, (this reason being very unfortunate) schools will lose recruits and they will end up signing elsewhere.

I made most of those comments and it was all about RECRUITS!!! I hope the man gets better health wise but lets get those recruits!!!!! i wrote a song about it want to hear it here go Joy to the world Urban Meyer is Gone LET US RECIEVE THE COMMITTSSSS !@!!!! GO VOLS

Yeah boy. That's what I asked Santa for Christmas ... another shot at Tebow and Meyer! After 5 straight beatdowns from Meyer (actually we shoulda won 06' and coulda 05') and 4 from Tebow (no chance after his freshman yr), I can think of a lot of things that I would like another shot at for the Vols.

Can we not just move on and say (for the last 3 years anyway) that UF was just superior to us. The good news is that Times they are a Changin'. :dance2:

I would like to say that I have never been so disappointed in the fanbase of University of Tennessee. I don't care if this is our biggest rival or a team which has no relevant meaning to our program. This guy may be one of the most hated people to our program over the year's but he has a university, a program and a heart. He has just beat us in general and not by cheating but by pure athletic talent and coaching ability.

I have read post such as

"merry christmas to us"

"the greatest christmas present ever"

and worse things.......

let's just keep it to recruiting and information about our targets and keep it off the person's family or personal life. Let's stop being a bunch of bama or gator fans and prove that we are truly Volnation.

i just hope if he ever comes back to coach its either at a notre dame or any other out of conference team! but yea he is a great coach

I wish him no ill health. But, as they say, facts is facts, he is an arrogant, strutting and frankly class-less schoolyard bully type. He loses 2 games in 2 years and now decides he isn't healthy? I wonder if he would be sick if they had beaten Alabama?

Anybody remember when Tim Tebow got that little bump on the head. I do, I was happy as a clam. Not because Tim Tebow was hurt, wishing harm on a kid is sick and disgusting. I was happy because the UF fans finally shut their stupid mouths for 5 minutes and started crying. I think that is what is going on with Vol fans now. It is in my case anyway!
