Normally I wouldn't start a thread and I would put this in his thread, but this is potentially big news. I personally don't believe this but I know it was discussed around his visit if everything was clean. Here you TG haters go. The middle section "re Gibson"

Also remember this could be completely false, it is a single report... This dude is a real recruiting reporter FWIW
Sounds like an extravagant story. How would he hire escorts if he's not even a senior in high school yet (unless he's failed a grade)? I doubt there's even an escort service in Knoxville.
This guy made claims that he himself has had to correct already. What an idiot. For example:
Claim 1: Ran up a huge bill in his hotel room. Correction: He stayed in the dorms.
Claim 2: UT pulled his scholarship offer. Correction: No, they didn't.
Claim 3: A UT coach took him home. Correction: He flew home.
Claim 4: Lobster! Correction: They didn't order lobster.
So yeah, everything else he penned was true! According to him at least. Now he is sorry that one of his 50 subscribers has dropped a dime on him. I don't know who would pay for insider info that has to be corrected later the same day.
This is the jokers follow up to the story. He really wishes Gibson hadn't posted all of those mean rumors though!

IMO that was likely the only accurate thing about the claims. I'd also guess that the pulling of the offer had nothing to do with what TG did while on his UT visit.
But if you were accused of something that could ruin your potential career at age 17, that you didn't do, wouldn't you tell everyone that it didn't happen? If you got accused of something completely wild that could ruin your potential career at age 17 would you admit to it if you were asked? True or not you would not admit to that story I'm just assuming.
I doubt UT pulled his offer at least not in those strict terms anyways. Now maybe we cooled on recruiting him or something like that but I doubt we just told him we're no longer interested. That would have come out by now, Gibson is way too proud to not have addressed that if it was the case.
