The games for LSU and UGA will be important. CDD has ties to both states and a win over the state's home school would be big for recruiting IMO.

At least we had lost our entire offensive staff in 2006 & 2008 to partially explain what happened; it's far more disconcerting to have your whole staff, a whole year to recruit, and be nowhere near even the top-half of the SEC in recruiting at the mid-point of the recruiting season.

The whole staff has been recruiting for a whole year?

And I don't know that "nowhere near" the top half of the SEC is accurate. We have fewer recruits than all but two teams ahead of us and a higher average star ranking than several. We probably won't be up there with Bama or Florida this year, but there's not really much reason to expect we should be.

Disagree. The difference between the 10th ranked class and 1st ranked class is rather massive.

Typical # of 4/5* Recruits
1-2: 20
10: 10-12

Add that up over five years, and you have 1 team that is twice as talented as its opponent.

This pretty much shows your using a double standard to form your opinions. You point to a turnover in offensive staff as the reason for the low rating but don't acknowledge we lost almost the entire staff this year. This is the third time in three years we've had a change at HC. The whole year to recruit is absolutely hilarious.

Agrre if we haven't had so many coaching changes in the past 3 years we would still be at the top, recruits want stability
