He's committed to Purdue. But, he is a real talent. JMOyeah, i think Sheffield has some interest. but i don't know he'll get a legit scholarship offer with guys like Payton, Brown and Curry still on the board. and unless his offer list blows up in the not too distant future, i could see a PWO...but that point, it'll just depend on just how bad he wants to play here. cause he can get a free ride somewhere else.
yeah, if you peruse the 2020 Tennessee class, it's littered with kids with offers from TN. the 20 TN class is really strong, and we have extended offers to everyone in the top 10, and most of the top 25.False he doesn't want overrated/inflated players. He is still taking instate kids. Just the ones he think are a fit in his system. He just isn't falling for the Rivals politics. He trust his own board.

it's just that being from TN isn't some trump card with this staff, like it was with the last.
no one can predict the future, but yeah, i remember last year when Trey Knox was a "can't let him leave the state" guy.Weren't we saying the same thing about the '19 class during the '18 cycle?
I suppose Ga,Ala,Mich,Oregon, etc got it all wrong. Pruitt simply does not want kids that can whistle rocky top.False he doesn't want overrated/inflated players. He is still taking instate kids. that's just BS. there are kids in state that are committed to other places that this staff wants, a la Norton and Gray. there are others that they didn't a la Knox, Otey, Wilhoite, Washington....they have a profile, and it's pretty well documented how some of those guys' recruitment went as far as camps and stuff went, who was willing, who wasn't etc....I suppose Ga,Ala,Mich,Oregon, etc got it all wrong. Pruitt simply does not want kids that can whistle rocky top.
well, we do lose all of our starting DL....so next year we'll be young. and there's not anyone on the roster, or in the current commit list, that you can peg as a difference maker up front.Defense is the bright spot for now, not great but better than offense
supposed to be Emerson......but who knowswell, we do lose all of our starting DL....so next year we'll be young. and there's not anyone on the roster, or in the current commit list, that you can peg as a difference maker up front.
will be interesting to see what we do on the DL the rest of the way in this class.
he certainly still has the potential to be. he's coming off that injury from his Sr. year in HS, and he just needs to develop. no sin in that. he's definitley one that another year in the program could be really beneficial. and Gooden will be back next year, and he's looked the part this year.supposed to be Emerson......but who knows
i don't think anyone should be worried about the momentum....unless it becomes time to worry abou it.Im not worried that we didn't get this WR, but our class has fallen down to #14. Anyone think that we kind of need a shot in the arm and get someone to commit here soon and keep up the momentum? Pruitt's recruiting credentials arent really coming through just yet!
