Really worried about attracting Tennessee kids to the program. We lost a four start today to Arkansas, SMH. Blackman high school Murfreesboro!
Not a big loss. Staff wasn't big on him. We already have too many receivers that are like him. Seems the staff is holding out for a speedy/shifty wide receiver. Knox doesn't fit that mold

i don't think anyone should be worried about the momentum....unless it becomes time to worry abou it.

this class is still solid, and somewhat fluid.

anxiety level about this class should stay flat, unless someone named Keyton or Morris decommits, or at least until we get closer to the signing days, and we start to really see dominos fall.

Yeah thats a good point. I just kind of worry that if we dont get maybe a 4* CB, OT or something needed here soon our momentum will slow and we will be reliant on the early signing period.

Not that Trey Knox(what a great name) is not a quality ballplayer,we have several receivers of hos style, speed and make-up onthe team now. What we need is a burner, one who can "take the top off of the defense".Best of luck to Mr. Knox.

hard to believe we wouldn't make room for a four star player, but there are only so many spots to fill...priorities rule...:D

GO VOLS!

The vol coaching staff is going after speed at wr in this class. Knox does not create separation and is a possession wr. We already have that and are in need of improving speed at many positions. UT did not want Knox that bad after watching West Virginia i am told. K Brown and J Peyton have rotated up to the top of the wr board with a few others. Curry probably not a vol IMO and is a total flake and is on the take. Not losing any sleep over Knox. We'll see if he even pans out at all. The staff has already been to Memphis, south Georgia yesterday and is in North Carolina today check in on Brown and Crouch among a few others. There were too many Memphis players to list but B Norton is starting to come around and i would watch for him to flip at some point. Hampton is not coming to UT. He will not visit at all.

Offensive and defensive line (the best) are, in my opinion , much more important that average running backs, tight ends etc. Without o and d linemen the remainder is obsolete. The game is won and lost at the line of scrimmage !!! I will take an exceptional o line and just average running backs, quarterback any day of the week !!!!!
Yes. I hate to use them as an example, but Bama has been exceptionally strong on both lines for years.

Watched this kid play for years. All he is is tall. He took a lot of plays off when he knew the ball wasn’t coming his way. Best of luck to the young man, but doubt UT needs someone like this.

I want them to get the best they can get, wherever they're from. That said, I have been led to believe that coaches of HS programs that regularly produce FBS talent have relationships with college programs where you take one of their 3* guys this year to get the 4* or 5* next year or the year after.
