Yeah I hope recruiting doesn't take a hit

Why would recruiting take a hit? The atmosphere was amazing. The game was exciting. We as die-hard fans were devastated by the result but a nuetral observer would throughly enjoy it. I think every recruit there would want to play on a stage like that.

Yep. An extremely close loss to a very good team is easy to spin from a recruiting standpoint.

Butch after the game: "Last year we lost to this team by 4 TDs. This year we took them to double OT. That's all because we are bringing in players like you, but we aren't done yet. If you come to Tennessee, you can help us finish the job."

Yeah. That's true. I do think a WR would be shaking their head a little though. I know the OL is the second worst in UT history and Dobbs struggled but we have GOT to let them get the ball some how

Dobbs won't be the one throwing them the ball.

Dormady, Jones, Guarantano or Johnson will be.

I love Dobbs but I'll be glad to have an accurate passer again that has a threat of a deep ball. So we can actually use our WRs...
