I slightly disagree. The whole push over of power to Texas (especially with regards to things like soon/later grants of the LHN rights and sharing) seemed to more come after the please don't leave consolation to the 2010 orangeblood rumors of "Colorado is moving to the PAC 10 and Texas, A&M, OU, Texas Tech, and OK St are all coming too"
...which Texas and company used to try to force Missouri and Nebraska to pledge to stay in the conference
There were other issues with Texas and the balance of power shifting more in their favor before the ...such as the Big 12 offices being moved from KC to Dallas. But I'm fairly certain the LHN didn't become the big issue until the 2011 conference realignment stuff...I could be mistaken though
So has ours, and our offense's consistency has been pretty mixed in pressure situations, especially against the better teams.
You really think we'd have done better than a 48-45 loss? Because I don't...I think at very best we're looking at a 10-13- in the teens point loss there
Agree Brown is the better coach of the two, but given the money and resources in Texas, today's beatdown is inexcusable...let alone that losing season a few years ago.
