I know this is probably a dumb question, but is that David Price from Vandy???

87 mph slider by Price, as a lefty, is just nasty. Followed by 97 gas on the outside corner. That's mean under that heat for a rook.

I'd say price looks just a tad better than Hochevar thus far.

Agreed.
I can't wait til madison bumgarner reaches the majors... i'd bet money you'll hear from him soon. tenth overall pick in that same class.

Well, if you are a true rays or phillies fan, feel free to say something.

David Price, you are absolutely nasttttty. They might tear that dang stadium apart. That hop on Iwamura was crazy.

Congratulations, Rays.

price comes up with a split or change, he's unhittable.

His control is dramatically better than Hochevar.

Haha, and the Rays haven't developed anyyyy sort of bandwagon fan base...

they can't touch the Sox lovable loser to complete prick makeover after finally breaking through. I'm sure much of the problem is the overexposure from ESPN, but the act is just tired.

Barely a month since Price made his ML debut, and here he is getting a save in Game 7 of the ALCS. Pretty amazing.

Got a playoff win before he got a regular season win... well done

disappointed to see the Sox go out, but they'll be back next year, and the year after that likely with several players from the Tampa team that just beat them. Good for the Rays to win some before they have to sell off all these great young players they've found and developed. Hopefully they can finish the job in the World Series

Considering they've signed a bulk of that talent to long term deals (i.e. Longoria) you may be waiting a while.
