Well, if you don't want to be around our "knuckle draggin' butts" then maybe you should go back to the holler
Nah. I actually like it down on Rocky Top. The University you so loyaly cheer for was kind enough to spend a small amount of their time recruiting me for football back in the day. I'll always appreciate that. :hi:

Basketball is another matter, however, and Kentucky is still the premier job in the country, regardless of where the program is now. It will be back, with our current coach or a new one.

Sending you recruitment letters don't count as recruiting. Who didn't get letters?
Letters, Christmas cards, birthday cards, calling my coach, requesting game film, inviting me to visit, etc. Call it what you want. In the end, I wasn't good enough so it's really irrelevant. I'm still thankful for Coach Majors' staff giving me the time of day. That's it.

Still the premier job in the country? Not lately it seems. Donovan and Self turned UK down. Barnhart went with the third string coach..... Billy "Otis of Mayberry" Gillispie.

That decision has turned out great. The "Roman Empire" is in shambles of what it once use to be. The Pitino days are far behind UK now.

Tubby ball was welcomed for a short while. After a few years, Tubby ball was run out of town.

Billy comes to town with the endorsement of Barnhart. UK fans were practically falling over one another to get into Memorial Coliseum to meet him. Our "Savior" is here fan after fan announces on the call in shows to Larry Glover and Dick Gabriel.

In two short seasons the "Savior" has coached the "premier job in the country" into the NIT.

Congratulations. :clapping:
