If they have Bray redshirted for this year, it will be a damn travesty.

Relax, let him get acclimated, go thru the spring practices alongside other qbs, hitting weights and training table, throwing with receivers over the summer ... decision doesn't need to be made before August at earliest.

Compared to the other options we've got at QB, I think Bray is probably the best choice, even as a true freshman.

I don't know how Bray could be a definite redshirt. We aren't that deep with solid QB's.

redshirts: marteze jackson, neal, sapp, crump, hunter, nance, possibly bray and meline... and for those that will get significant pt i think simms, i think we see dixon on special teams, rogers of course, milton some, miller, clark, lofton, smith, james, stone, and fulton could all contribute some

With the offensive line problems we're going to have next year I don't want my future at quarterback starting getting thrown to the wolves. I'd rather give the job to Nick Stephens or Matt Simms and let them take the pounding next year.

Yep just my opinion but I think NS starts,he might not hold the job all year but he will be the guy come the first game.He already has a year under Chaneys system and significant playing time.. so he's miles ahead of the rest.

If you think Tyler Bray redshirts, you've lost your mind! I'd say Crump, Sapp, Nance, Propst, Pair, Stone, Loften, and Hunter....most depending on injuries of course.

Edit: almost forgot Jackson

I still wouldn't count out Simms, I wouldn't be surprised to see him starting either.

Stone and Pair are definite redshirts, IMO. Stone has a chance to be really good, but not next year. James could contribute next year, but won’t be great.

I agree. the sullins bros were seniors. there is a big difference in being a senior and a freshman Olineman.

I really think he will get a year to bulk up and learn chaneys system, but i knew that one would make good discussion,,LOL.

It's not ridiculous to think Bray could get up to 215-220 before the season starts. After all, he's in a collegiate strength training program now. Plus, he's in a state known for Southern food. Feed him country fried steak slathered in gravy, eggs, bacon...now that I think about it Cracker Barrel sounds really good right now
