Reid. Obama has no Negro dialect

Whats funny is the Democratic party is the party that was for segregation and fought to deny rights for blacks to vote. The Democrats knew that they would die if the GOP gained favor with the minority groups, so they began pushing for programs that put them in good favor with minorities. This had nothing to do with caring more about minorities but gaining an edge on the GOP at the expense of the minorities. They have used minorities more for their own political gain than anything else. The fact is the rich and powerful in Washington have no clue how the working man gets by and they dont care. The sooner all the people figure this out, the better this country will be. Politicians of both parties care nothing for the common man.

There is definitely some hipocrisy in how these off-the-cuff type remarks are perceived. I think the main reason for that is that the Dems are still viewed, whether you agree with it or not, as much more inclined towards policy that favors minorities. As a consequence, I think the Dems do get away with more when it comes to this kind of comment.

If the Republicans are upset about it, the solution for them is easy, and that is to become more genuinely interested in the goals and financial interests of minorities. Although from time to time they pay it lip service, Republican lawmakers by and large do not support policies viewed in the black and Hispanic communities as very favoralbe to them.

Thank goodness you're here.

Agreed. If Republicans are irritated about being unfairly demonized, they should be forced to change their policies. Bravo.

Reid was calling it like he saw it... even those who are roasting him agree with his statement.

I wish we could get past this PC crap.

If minorities ever realized your party was the reason a good percentage of them stay poor, they would go to the GOP in mass. Your party wants to keep as many minorities own the govt payroll and dumbed down as much as possible.
Well they damn sure don't want to educate them. They might wise up and see what a scam it all is. They'd rather them not know anything so they can go on with business as usual.

what get on the entitlement bandwagon, and just simply hand them money without them having to work for it? IMO you are doing a huge injustice to the people when you are not teaching these folks "how to", instead teaching them "not to"

Almost forgot. I wanted to personally thank all of those people who are calling for Reid to resign (and say they are doing so on principle rather than for political purposes) for having been so steadfast in their demands that Rush Limbaugh be taken off the air when he called Obama "Barrack, the Magic Negro." It is refreshing to see the GOP's outrage at use of that language be so even-handed.

you really don't have a clue, do you?

note the date. Rush and Paul Shanklin did use the above op-ed for the following song, but like so many other times, the racial stereotyping begins on the left.

I am angry that most people think that if you are from the South and white, you are a racist. That is a stereotype in itself. What you have to look at is who gains more from keeping racism alive. I can name several right off hand and they are all Democrats.

Can anyone name who I'm talking about?

Then you can sell him fishing lures!!! :good!:

He looks black but I'd like to ask Harry Reid for a second opinion.

:eek:lol:

Somebody doesn't think Harry is all that funny.

The Real Barack Obama.

But if this President is so vainglorious as to believe his campaign's claims about his greatness, we have reason to worry.

With problem piling up on top of problem, the last thing we need is a leader so hopelessly enamored of himself that he actually presumes to be the next Lincoln.

Don'tcha just love it when liberals get caught in their own web of PCism??????

I think more and more people of African American descent are going to beocme aware that the Republicans have done far more historically to help them while Democrats have in reality fed then a line of BS and used them.

Bush one's nominee to the Supreme Court, Clarence Thomas, says the KKK was really nowhere as vicious as the racism of the liberal elites in Washington that Thomas calls 'left wing sealots draped in flowing sanctimony.'

"It's fascinating that people, there's so many people now who will make judgments based on what you look like," Thomas says. "I'm black. So I'm supposed to think a certain way. I'm supposed to have certain opinions. I don't do that. You don't create a box and put people in and then make a lot of generalizations about them."
