Report: Bama NT Brandon Ivory suspended

How big of a loss is this?

Bama is probably the deepest team in the country. However these losses hurt them. The damage is more to their rotation than probably the starters. NT seldom play every snap... and almost none are effective if they try.

If UT can avoid getting behind early and can lean on their starting DL's for awhile... it could get interesting.

Usually the only difference between a 4 and 5 star is that the 5 star plays on a state championship caliber team surrounded by other star players.

I'll take a 3 star that works his butt off everyday over a lazy 5 star who thinks he's doing you a favor just by coming to your University anyday of the week.

I hate when people say this. A 3 star can be equally as lazy as a 5 star can be equally as hard working. I'll take the best talent/ character combo possible.

About the same number of truly great CFB players are identified by the recruiting svcs and given 5* as are missed and receive 3* or less.

MOST 5* become very good college players at a minimum. Most 3* players do not become "very good" college players.... but some do and some play for UT- Fulton, Hood, Sapp, Brewer, Randolph, Sutton....
