How were Nevada's fans after the beatdown you received from them?

the funny thing about this is that there was a thread on the cal board that specifically talked about how classy the nevada fans were compared to oregons in 07. you really stepped into that one.

Watched a bit on gametracker today, Fresno was playing Cal Poly-SLO. 3 turnovers to the Mustangs none kept them in it for the first half, but a varied rushing attack for Fresno let them pull away to win by three TD's. Bulldogs had 7 players rush for positive yardage, totaling at 253 yards.

Next up is the Hawaii Warriors in Fresno.

Coulda sworn I typed a little write-up on the Hawaii game. My bad.

Had to check this one out as it was pitting Ryan Colburn against Hawaii and one of the great traditional passing attacks. Hawaii, for those who don't know, is no. 1 in the nation in passing offense and put up a ton of yards on USC earlier this season in a close loss in Honolulu.

The Warriors simply shredded the Bulldogs secondary at will. Bryant Moniz went 29/49 for 376 yards and 3 TD's. He's carrying on Colt Brennan's legacy. Colburn, on the other hand, had a rough day completing just over 50% for 258 yards and a TD. He unfortunately threw three picks, one of which was a dropped ball, another being a pick six. Hawaii also showed some stout red zone rushing which was the real-difference maker along with the turnovers. Hawaii won 49-27.

New Mexico State visits the valley this Saturday at 10:30EST/7:30PST. The game will be aired nationally on ESPNU.

For those who are interested in some late night ball that will likely feature around 90 points total and 900 yards of offense, Nevada visits Hawaii 11:30EST/7:30PST on ESPN3.

So my girlfriend (an actual serious one for once) hails from the Fresno area, attended Fresno State for a while and is a huge Bulldogs fan. After a month of pestering me this season, I finally caved into her wishes and started following Fresno, or as I affectionately call it, Fresyes. Spent a bit of time there with her between Tahoe Nat'l Park and the Fresno area... It's not so bad. Nowhere I aspire to live, but nice to visit for warm weather and outdoorsy stuff.

Anyways, I figured I'd start watching their games next week now that I have this ESPN package and keeping track of things on here.

Last game was at Ole Miss, the defense played thoroughly awful against Masoli and the Rebels. Brandon Bolden went all Dexter McCluster for 228 yards and a pair of TD's.

On the flip side, Colburn started rolling in the 2nd half while throwing for a bunch of yards (390 on the game) and three passing TD's to add to the one in the first quarter.

Next weekend is a cupcake against Cal Poly followed by the conference home opener against Hawaii, which should be a fun shoot out.

You are PW'ed bad.

I was on SR 99 in the San J Valley this summer, and there's not much to "rep" outside of scary medium sized towns and farmland.

And I mean that in the nicest possible way. I did get my In-n-Out craving fulfilled in Modesto.

The only really important news in my 5+ years in Utah is when they planned to put some restaurants in and around SLC. One is only 30 miles away!!!!!! Slobber...gotta go.
