I can attest that bedsheets do not make good low altitude parachute materialOne of the kids in the hood had a Trail 50. We very nearly killed ourselves on that thing.
P.S. Riding a homemade Towcart out of scrap 2X10s, a set of wagon wheels and pulling it through the cotton fields wide open was not conducive to safe playtime. We also made a homemade hang glider out of scrap 2X2s and bedsheets and pulled it behind that thing. That very nearly was a disaster. Max altitude was about 4 feet prior to the wings folding.
