That bacteria mutates into malt lymphoma which in turn becomes full lymphoma. Exactly what GVG had. It is terribly aggressive.

AHH yes, the old h pylori stool antigen. Turn around time for this test is 2-4 business days.

I know nothing about stomach cancer so I googled "what are the main causes of stomach cancer" and that's what came up.

I learned a little about throat cancer when my mom's long time boyfriend died with it 3 months after he found out he had it. I learned a lot about pancreatic cancer when my mom found out she had it died 4 months later.

I hope and pray I know as much about cancer as I do right now and never need or want to learn any more about it.

For any smokers here: smoking cigarettes is a common cause of bladder cancer, something that most of us would rarely think of. There are also risks with cigars, pipes, and chewing tobacco, although they are lower than for smoking cigarettes.

I learned this in medical coding back in the day, where we were supposed to code any documented tobacco use in patients diagnosed with bladder CA. (Diagnostic coding was developed to be used to help medical research, although in the US it is typically regarded instead as being for insurance and billing purposes.)

Its definitely a rare thing to see anymore. Pretty much all of my high school and college friends, we all smoked at some point. I can't think of any of those friends that still do.
