If we get bryce brown then it doesn't matter if we get anyone else. Bryce is the next Adrian Peterson. Let's pray this is just karma for what is about to come our way.

does anyone think "pulling the rug" on Thigpen -- whether it was justified or not -- could be a leading cause for this adverse affect we are seeing today with late changes and leanings the other way??

I'm hoping this is not a bad omen for NSD and we are still able to sign several solid guys to fill our holes (OL,DL, WR, etc.)

"The late changes and leanings" are nothing more than uptight people getting sweatty for no reason. Very little has actually changed over the past few days.

If you think that a guy that was going to go to Tennessee is now not because they passed on Thigpen you are absoutely nuts.

And for the last time can we stop talking about guys who the coach passed on? Are you more worried about building a football team or seeing how many Scout/Rivals points there are?

Phillips has been soft since he committed. He committed before he really knew cuz we were his first big offer. Mason was not a guy we really needed. The rest were long shots. Oku is not lost yet, if he is lost and there is no RB replacement in this class it is sad. But Kiffin is not getting his ... kicked as stated here. We will know little until after signing day

Hey, we've got Toney Williams still committed. He's more of an NFL type RB than Oku. Don't get me wrong I want us to get Oku, but don't forget about Williams.

The KNS reaction is just plain ridiculous. And for those who think that Kiffin is getting his ... kicked need to think that this coaching staff has been in place just 3 weeks and somehow got some of the best kids in the south to visit at the last minute. Not to mention the sad shape that Fulmer and company left us in.

Do any of you remember the winter of 1977 and the class that Majors brought in? It was laughable at best, but the next year when he had a whole year to compete we ended up with 12 Parade All-Americans and the top class in the country. This staff will do the same next year.

I am also very happy to have a coach that has a system for a change, knows what fits the system, and goes for the pieces of the puzzle that fit. No more selling your top 10 recruiting trophy that produces 2 losing seasons in the last 4 years. No more wasting or under-developing talent. This staff will dominate next year.

I also have your belief that we will be an excellent talent enhancer and developer. This will truly be a reversal over the last 10 years.

Same old story just different character's, we find them recruit them, they steal them, aka buy them.

Yes, I remember that class. However, Lee North was the only one of those Parade AA to pan out. One got a form of cancer and others either left or flunked out so Majors stuuggled for several years before even going to a minor bowl.

The only time you've ever shown up on the recruiting board is when there is any kind of negative news.

You were never around when we started to hear from guys that didn't even know where Knoxville is until the new staff came in.

When was Phillips a "soft commit"? He was "solid" up until a couple of weeks ago... seems he started seriously looking after his official.
