#8 player in the nation according to rivals. 6-3 195lbs. from Louisana. HVwarrior any word on this guy?

reuben randle is an extreme longshot. There is a ton of good WR's on this years board however. Marlon being the best of the bunch. Id love to get him and logan Heastie although the feeling at this point is that logan is a gator.

We aren't on either of their lists at Rivals or Scout, but it begs discussion. Obviously as we increase our profile in these places this year, it impacts the future but surely we aren't just visiting these guys purely for self-promotion.

I don't realistically see Randle in orange and Jones wasn't on my radar before this week, but it is encouraging that we're out there building relationships and speaking to the top uncommitted guys.

Maybe in 2010/2011 a guy like Randle tells a senior at his old high school that he wished he would've given TN a harder look.

"But let's face facts. The guy that was doing the recruiting for him (in Louisiana) while he was at Ole Miss was Frank Wilson (a former O.P. Walker coach, whom Orgeron made one of his first hires. Wilson is now at Mississippi State). They made three or four trips here to 35 and the guy doing the leg work for him was Frank Wilson. Virtually every guy he got from Louisiana was because of Frank Wilson.

"When you look at the facilities, the day-to-day facilities, the ones they have at LSU are much better." - I did not realize our facilities were so mediocre.

lol are facilities aren't even close to mediocre! LSU is one of the best from what I have heard. WE are right up there with them

I think he's talking about orange groves---planting trees that grow so high that programs like LSU and UGA return to their proper place in the shade.

Remember when LSU was simply rancid? I can remember LSU going 2-9 in '92. Whenever they beat anyone other than Ole Miss and Miss St. it was shocking.

Looked everywhere, can't find anything on that. Considering how many places these guys have been, you'd think there'd be more stories pouring in.

One note, though, after Auburn's recent hire, I read that they had jumped back in with Randle. So it would seem, that if they can get in on the Randle sweepstakes, anyone could. He seems totally non-committal to anything at this point.

I think he was interested in us until after the fulmer firing because on the old rivals 100 back in November he had us with medium interest like everybody else maybe O and MK restored some of that.

anybody know what mr randle's visit schedule looks like the next 2 weeks? ditto for b. mingo? i can't get it through work firewall ...

Mingo visited LSU last weekend, headed to BAMA this weekend

Opposite for Randle, went to Bama last weekend, at LSU this weekend.. I think Randle is finished after this weekend... Miami and Ole Miss...are possible visits
