It is hard for me to call this season. I would say Mizzou, Florida, UGAly, and vandy could all be winnable, but with so much to replace on the lines, how good will these new guys be in the trenches.

As a side point, this roster has been screwed up for quite some time. Too often it seems like there is little or no experience at various positions, and it seems like this is a problem that is unique to the Vols. Things should have gotten better with three years of stability with Dooley, but the roster is still a mess. Hopefully things get straightened out here in the next couple of years. Multiple top 5 classes will definitely help.

UT has struggled on the road as of late and adding in the youth factor I look for those struggles to continue.

Honestly I believe we can beat anyone when we have a team that gives their all for Tennessee & the best fanbase behind them. Realistically for this year I think we beat Florida & Vanderbilt.

I gotta say I dislike Florida and UGA as it's historical, kinda neutral on Mizzou since they haven't been around long enough, Alabama is Buck Fama, it's genetic dislike.

But I freakin hate Vandy now. You don't decide you can sit at the big boys table after only have back to back winning seasons for the first time in nearly 40 years.

I used to pity them. Now? Mud stompin isn't good enough. Triple digit score with the 2 point conversion in the final twenty seconds along with the onside kick. I want the NCAA to consider a mercy rule for the beat down they should be getting.

I live in the Middle TN area now so I have experienced the few Vandy fans first- hand. (When I lived in E. TN, I was more likely to encounter a Bigfoot feeding on a Chupacabra, catch both specimens, and successfully hand them over to the proper authorities for verification of their existence than to experience a Vandy fan sighting.)

I must say, I would prefer being tied down in an air-tight space and forced to wear an apparatus designed to keep my mouth wide open while a random assortment of Wal-Mart shoppers pass gas than to have to listen to another Vandy fan try to convince me that the Vols have been replaced as King of TN by the Commodores. Ugh. You're right.

I hate Vandy too. But the thing is, I would quickly choose the traumatic situation imagined above to avoid losing to any other SEC school too. I can't choose who to hate the most.

I want florida and Vandy bad!
The way we lost to UGA left a terrible taste in the mouth as well. REVENGE WOULD BE SWEET!! VOLS!!!

I think we have a decent shot at Georgia and SCar because we just seem to always match up pretty well with both teams. Agree we should handle Vandy, Missouri less so. I think we have a chance to get Ole Miss on the road as well. Very, very slim chance to beat Florida....they'd have to absolutely hand it to us for us to have a chance.

I think we've got a better shot at Florida at home than Ole Miss on the road. I'm not fond of flipping UGA to be our first conference game either.

If this team plays hungry, they can take Florida.

Agree that we have a decent shot at all of the above. As to Florida, they tried to hand it to us last year. Maybe they'll improve on that this time. Or hopefully we'll improve on our ability to accept a gift.
