I have the feeling that Bru will end up the workhorse, chain mover (ala JJ). Squirrel will likely get more touches and some other guys will fill in the gaps.. we have a couple guys that might shock the world coming in. I think right at this moment the biggest deal is gonna be Jaylen Wright,, what does he do because his choice will affect what happens with Seldon (WR or RB). Leacock is the next in line to take up the dawg torch from Bru. Will Nimrod and Webb Develop? People are downplaying it but Merrill, Calloway and Holiday leaving is a big blow IMO. We didn't rotate WR's a lot but out of all the guys behind the top 3 they had the most actual career snaps in real games. We need to Keep Wright and get at least one more WR in via portal hopefully Dont'e Thornton.

I believe squirrel will probably have more catches and yards but Bru will definitely be the man, the go to receiver that gets us those tough yards across the middle and red zone touchdowns that you got to have

Bru is going to be the dog. When you got to have those yards to get a first down,he’s going to be the target. He’s shown he got those hands when he caught that TD in the Orange Bowl. White seems to be Milton’s favorite so he should get plenty of looks and TDs.
Keyton will get yards and TDs but Dont think he’s going to be the main guy.
QBs usually have a guy that just clicks with them and so far that appears be White. hopefully they all get plenty of looks next season GBO

Just reading the names in this thread is crazy. With Milton dialed in next year, going to be another record breaking year for VOL offense.

Heupfully Squirrel dedicates himself to the S&C and Nutrition program this offseason and gets bigger and stronger.

He will def lead the team in yards if he can stay healthy.

They need to get him on the stretcher machine. Gotta get taller than 5-9.

White simply based on speed. Much like Jauan, Bru is more of a possession receiver who will make the tough catches and get the tough yards.

Going to need TE’s to be involved. Teams will eventually scheme against the WR’s. That will help running game but need to ownership of the middle of the field.

Bru will have more catches, White will have more yards and TD's.
Agree….Bru is a 20 yards or less mainly…White is a get down the field. Bru could have 6 catches for 80 yards. White can get that in 1-2

Bru is the brusier, no corner will want to tackle him-50/50 guy.
White is the speed demon, nobody can run with him.
Keyton, I can't figure him out? Great catches, great drops? speed sometimes but not all the time, alittle scrapy! I think he has the best upside! If he puts the work in, he'll break Hyatts records!!!!

Keyton got around 70 yards on about 4 catches. Smooth.Easy loping gait.Sweet set of hands. He may be the sleeper next year.Bru-stud throughout.Squirrel-flash! With the other receivers we have now and are getting,Pope should have a boss room.

Ramel Keyton is a good bit taller. I don't have data on speed; however, I can see Keyton leading Squirrel next season. Bru being in the slot would seem to relegate him to third in this system. Don't get me wrong, I love ALL of these guys. We are blessed with some great receivers.
Bru is not in the slot...
He's never been in the slot.

Wise man once said never play pool against a man who has a city or state as a first name.

Logic would also apply here. Never bet against a receiver who has the nickname of a small, nimble forest creature.

Bru is a big bodied possession type receiver who is going to wow you by holding onto the ball. Bloody fantastic player who is a load for a DB to bring down considering he outweighs them by 50 pounds.

Squirrel is gonna hurt some teams bad next year though-if he stays healthy.

Honestly wasn’t giving keyton any love because I think other players are gonna emerge and white and bru have more “specific roles” if that makes sense. But for all I know keyton could pull a Hyatt season next year. I should’ve included him

I agree with all of this. If, big IF, Milton continues to improve his accuracy. He looked really well in the Orange Bowl. All of those things can happen. I see Bru as a special talent in special situations. He knows how to use his body in close passing situations. He shields himself well from defenders. Something that will make him special at the next level. Don’t look for him to have the numbers of Keyton or White, simply because his role will be different. White’s speed is a special asset. He has been clocked very close to Hyatt and he has great hands. My primary concern for White is his size. I hope he can hold up under the regular pounding he will take in this league. Keyton could take over where Tillman was at at the end of 21. If healthy, this corps, along with Warren or another TE yet to be named could easily be the best in the conference, if not the nation.

I went back and watched the highlights of all our games. Everyone was largely overshadowed by Hyatt of course, but Keyton was very active and made some huge receptions. First one being where he laid out to pull in the bomb downfield vs FLA that ignited our scoring run. No catch was more clutch than the one he made at midfield in the final seconds of the Alabama game right before Bru made his big catch. Keyton also had several receptions throughout the year where he would make a great juke move and get a lot of yards after the catch. I’m pretty high on Keyton going into next season.

I think Bru and Squirrel will both have a breakout year in 2023. Meanwhile I think Keyton will continue to quietly make critical plays that allow us to win big games. Huge having him back as well as McCoy and White.
