Rice @ Memphis

The same Tide that lost 13 games last year? What about the punking that UT laid on them this year? Do you watch their games? You must have seen them lay 45 points on a UCLA team we should've beaten last year. They are a fraud plain and simple. I bet they enjoy that second straight C-USA title, lord knows it took Cincy and Louisville leaving for that monumental achievement.

A guy whose team is headed for probable date in the NIT calling a team that hasn't lost in over a month a fraud. That's rich. By the way, the Ole Miss team that is leading the SEC West got dominated by that fraud.

I don't just watch Memphis games, I actually attend a few. For example, I was at the aforementioned beating they laid on SEC West leader Mississippi.

Why do we beat teams like Memphis and lose to teams with alot less talent?

Over a month, please list the powerful teams they played in that time. Oh wait, there aren't any. I don't see why you keep bringing the Tide up.

Because you keep talking about how horrible Memphis is, when it is readily apparent they would run away wth the SEC West.

Yeah, they've only got 5 or 6 guys on their roster who will play in the NBA. They are just bereft of talent.

Lmao, like Carney, D Wash, and Williams. They weren't even close to being Nba caliber. I see talent come through Memphis and never develop. D Wash got worse, Williams was a joke, and Carney will bust as well. I don't get your lovefest with one of the most overrated teams in college ball. Would you mind naming the 5 or 6 Nba prospects on the current roster?

That may be true, but they would have to play in the Sec week in and week out. I think they would be mid tier at best.

Well, given that both were first round picks, Williams and Carney will both be in the league at least 3 years. On the current roster, you can be quite certain that CDR, Dorsey, Dozier, Anderson, and Kareem Cooper will find their way onto NBA rosters. I think it's also reasonable to assume at least one of their freshmen, most likely Doneal Mack will do the same. I also wouldn't be shocked if Jeremey Hunt gets a look because of his defense.

Glad to see you are smarter than Larry Bird and Donnie Walsh. I bet Larry Legend would have appreciated if you would have saved him from drafting Shawne.

Maybe they will learn some fundamentals playing abroad.

Now that is an impressive win streak, please retract all of the statements I have made.
Given that you keep talking about how tough the SEC would be for Memphis, I'm not surprised you have failed to mention the fact they annihilated Kentucky on a neutral floor.

They have beat what, 1 team that that was ranked? The almighty UK Wildcats. Calapari needs to get to the next level as fast as he can.

Mentioned it in an ealrier post. Must be nice to have a win against a force like UK this year. All in all, they haven't beaten a GOOD team this year, and UK doesn't count in my book.

If UK isn't good, you're proving your theory about the SEC to be totally fallacious. Kentucky is certainly in the top half of the SEC, and Memphis punked them on a neutral floor.
