Rich Brooks said tonight it would likely be his last season at Kentucky. Who will be their next HC? My guess... Joker Phillips, but it is possible Randy Sanders is promoted or they may even look beyond the program. Who should we be most worried about?

He said after the game, he's 80% sure he wont return. Joker Phillips has been the coach in waiting for about 3 years now.

Kentucky football & worried? :eek:lol: 25 YEARS!

No big deal---joker phillips is no better than brooks. UK will be mediocre for years to come, with 7 wins considered a "big year!"

Rich will give it a week and decide he's coming back to try and get on ESPN's Sunday Conversation like Drama Queen Meyer.

Why is this relevant? It doesn't matter who coaches Kensucky!!!!

Wow. I guess my source was accurate. I heard in October he was stepping down.

If so, RIP Kentucky football

True. I hate Kensucky as much as the next guy but Brooks is a good coach. He took over this program when it was on probation and has built it up. How many consecutive bowl games now? Like 4 or 5? Phillips will not keep UK on "even ground", they will deminishing returns will him.

Around Lexington, they think Joker Phillips is the next coming.
I wonder if CRS will be offensive coordinator.

He's been dropping hints the past few weeks and refusing to answer questions about it. It was pretty much a given that he was retiring.

It's Rich, not Rick.

Already discussing it in the Music City Bowl thread.
