Has anyone else listened to this song? I have read comments from people all over the world saying how this song resonates with them.

I heard this song yesterday for the first time. Consider me resonated.

This will bring out the Q Anon police lol.
"Wish politicians would look out for minors, and not just minors on an island somewhere"

MAGA resentment class approves of this message.

???

Aren't the people who are upset re: the overturning of Roe, the rejection of certain books as being inappropriate, one line in 200 pages of teaching standards, etc. all expressing their resentment and attempting their own version of Making America Great Again by advocating for the return to previous policies?

Perspectives all depended upon whose ox is being gored.

Fairly ironic that the Left today would find Woody Guthrie's socialist-sympathetic songs to be expressions of "MAGA resentment."

All that complaining about bank foreclosures, Hoovervilles, tax collectors, this land belonging to everyone, etc. What a whiner ol' Woody was!

I was wondering if you’d weigh in with your White Resentment Class tag
It's amazing. Anything for the people, and the due hards on his side are offended. Songs about the working class, they make it political. Movies about rescuing kids from trafficking, they get offended. Concerned about your health and taking a shot, then they cried conspiracy theorist. Blows my mind. However, if the news tells them to be offended over a song, a movie, peanut butter, syrup, etc, then they fall right in line.🤣

At the end of the video , you can see his hands are shaking, which indicates raw sincerity. The message of the song is extremely relevant and important, which is why it’s resonating with people globally. Consequently, to reduce this to “MAGA resentment“ is just stupid. TBH, I don’t even think he watched the video. He just saw a white guy making a political song and immediately thought it was “MAGA” related without even hearing or internalizing the message being presented.

Right-Wingers Rally Around New Song By Unknown Artist After Jason Aldean

Here's a quote so yall don't have to click the article:

"This is a pretty fascinating trend we're seeing -- it appears when right-wingers perceive something (like a song) they think addresses their grievances/perspectives, they lean into it ... and, from the small sample size we've noticed, it can be effective in the marketplace."

Is there anything in this song that is right-wing? Leftists have now moved so far to the left that any song that dares criticize politicians or the current state is now considered "right-wing". Also, I think they're intentionally using that label to discredit the message of the song and narrow the scope of applicability to strictly conservatives. Anyone with 2 functioning brain cells and ears can tell that this song isn't just some "right-wing" message. This irks me.

I would think the Bernie Sanders’ wing of the Democrat party could relate to this.

I guess that'd be me. I'm all for taxing the rich. Massachusetts is giving every kid in the state free school lunch, paid for by their new 4% millionaire tax. That's what "think of the children" really looks like.

I always enjoy seeing terrible policies put in place in far left cities and states
