Richt retiring

Just off the bat I would say Kiffin, Mario Cristobal, Butch Davis right off hand as candidates but I'm sure Cristobal would have a huge buyout from Oregon and maybe their former DC Manny Diaz took the Temple job to fast because he would have been a candidate too. Miami is a top 10 job and they have hundreds of recruits right in their backyard every year so recruiting is easy at the U but personally I think Miami needs to start recruiting nationally and quit just relying on local South Florida kids.

Living down here in South Florida and talking to friends who are inside the UM program, I knew it was just a matter of time before Richt was gone and they respectfully forced him out thru retirement at 58 yrs old. Personally I think this was all planned before hand just to get thru the early signing period and sign their commits and get thru the bowl game too.

So many recruits that they have managed to recruit in the top 10 once in the past 5 or so years. Miami hasn’t been a top 10 program in over a decade.

maybe? But, I think they should try to lock down the "state of Miami" again. It worked great for yrs.
