I saw him play several time for the Redbirds here in Memphis. The guy has an absolute cannon for an arm and was clearly the best player on the team. I figured he'd get the call one day. I'm glad to hear he's doing well.

I'll have to see how all of this plays out before I place blame on him. Meanwhile, last night two homers and a double.

Not much of a surprise here but in his defense the prescription was in 2004 and baseball didn't ban it til 2005.

Looks like the "comeback kid" has been doing some stuff. 26 RBI's in 23 games must mean something for someone who used to be a pitcher.

who the crap cares what happened in 2004? it wasn't banned and by all reports so far, he quit when it was banned. just trying to bring down the man

I hope that's the case. Not like he was "reported" to receive it in January of 2007, anyway.

Don't some claim to use HGH during the recovery process from injuries?

yeah really. It's not like he's been using it during this remarkable run. He was very inconsistent then. Baseball wise is was perfectbaly legal then and I don't lose any respect over this whatsoever

For the life of me I don't understand why MLB doesn't just close the book on all of this and grant blanket amnesty to everybody and institute the toughest policy possible going forward.

Then ESPN wouldn't have something to lead with every time Little Johny down the street heard from his mom that knows a guy that sold HGH on the black market to (Enter Famous Sports Figure Here).

It's all friggin' stupid these stories hold no water with me, nor do I care if an athlete does a drug/ chemical. It's his body, do with it what you want. If the drug is illegal at the time ban his ass. If it wasn't illegal, leave them the hell alone.

Say there's a intersection you drive past everyday, where you don't have to stop. Then one day a stop sign is put up making it a 4 way. You come up and stop, being the only car at all four stops you proceed to go. Cop pulls you over and goes, "Now I know you stopped but I'm going to write you a ticket for a year ago when you didn't because a cop that used to work on the force told me so."

Please tell me, what the hell kind of sence does that make? He cheated when it wasn't illegal. Again, what the hell kind of sence does that make?
