I hated the prolonged not starting, it was definitely a "thing" in the arena and on the bench. However, I'm pretty sure KJH was not one bit harsher than she thought she had to be to hold her locker room together and to help the player in question. Pretty sure she would have killed to have her against Va Tech. Don't think she's into self abuse. But she stood her ground and look where we are now - about to hear this feel good story over and over via Carolyn Peck, that is when Allayah Boston Hour permits. Huge win for all, KJH, staff, and Rickea.I disagree. Needs to be addressed immediately. Implementing discipline when it hurts shows that the coaches mean business. And knowing that your absence costs the team a potential or likely ranked win gives the benched player a lot to think about and 15 more reasons to make amends.
I respect the staff for swallowing the bitter pill and for keeping the details in house. I also respect Rickea for the extremely mature way she handled the suspension/demotion. She showed a lot of grit and class with her reaction and proved that she was no diva but was instead is a true team player. At that moment, IMO, she became a LVFL.
Thank you! Great interview! If youβd like to hear her make the announcement, here it is from our show this morning:

Thanks for sharing your instant assessment. We hope, following next season, Rickea has a long and successful WNBA career. But if you think your prediction of her chances takes one bit of shine off the apple today, you are sadly mistaken. I know what round she goes in as a college player.Sir please be for real!

I believe tennessee can get south carolina unlike most tennessee is big as well and we played great both times we played them we cause them problem with jordy and jackson being able to step out n hit shots drive to the basket as lsu reese dnt hve a back to the basket game and her shot is terrible so its predicated on getting offensive rebounds n put backs for her which u not getting against south carolina cuz its six of them that look jus like her on there team....we jus hve to not go on scoring droughts and some how contain cooke she is the one that put them over the top against us we have to be able to contain her....if u go back n look at both games dawn not subbing awhole lot besides cardosa, LA, AND raven both games were pretty even on bench points its gone take alot but i do believe we can get them if the chance comesIβm getting ready to watch the replay of Tennessee vs LSU and the first half of the first game against South Carolina - plus the 2nd game against South Carolina through the 3rd qtr. I will then share my prediction and analysis for the upcoming NCAA tourney & 2023-2024 season.
The officiating in both SC games was clearly one sided with the contact allowed against Jordan Horston and Rickea Jackson. Itβs hard to downplay just how good the odds are for the LVs as this season has turned around drastically in February.
Right now, I sense Tennessee being in position to advance to a Final Four. The momentum has skyrocketed after the LVs played the toughest schedule in WCBB, received announcements that two of the best players in WCBB are returning in 2023-2024, and enter the NCAA Tourney as a Top 16 seed.
I don't believe that one bit. She will be better after next year easily a be a top ten pick.Sir please be for real!
