Just to come back as DC. No way Pruitt;s defense would have allowed Auburn to score over 20 points.

I can see why the bubbas were upset when big Phil reached into Saban;s fridge and stole his prize cornbread. Philip Fulmer, bane of Bama football - then and now.

Would it not just be the most awesome thing if this was the beginning of the end for Saban and it all started with Pruitt leaving to come here? Can you not just imagine the rage of the average billy bubba? ah, such sweet thoughts!

On a similar vein, I guarantee you GA would love to have Chaney back too.

2016, Ole' Miss, Arkansas, and Clemson called, just to say "hi".

Y'all should seriously pump the brakes. Pruitt's success has been against the back half of the schedule.

Jury is still out on his head coaching but nobody anywhere was complaining about his coordinator capabilities.

That was his first year back at bama. Notice his defenses got better and better. He was given good talent - but he also kept making it better.

I think Pruitt would have to win the SEC and beat Bama though for Bama to be interested in him coming back to replace Saban that is if Dabo turned them down.

This is true. If Pruitt gets UT back to respectability, UT fans will have to pray that Dabo takes the Bama offer.

Depends on timing. If it happens soon, sure I can see Pruitt going. But if Pruitt has built UT into a power , after all that work...he ain't leaving. Just like Dabo wouldn't give going to Bama a second thought. UT can easily match Bama money wise at that point.

Pruitt would have left at halftime if Bama had come calling. Don't see Saban going anywhere very soon tho.

I wouldn't make that bet.

We were worried about Dooley leaving for Georgia

Battered Vol Syndrome

For Georgia and even some thought Alabama; and I'm pretty sure we had people worried Butch would leave for Notre Dame.

Of course Pruitt might work out great, but at the same time it's a bit hilarious to watch this place go through the exact same cycles.

I saw presser on YouTube. Saban looked very tired. His comb over was the worst I’ve seen- the hair coloring was very conspicuous around the bald spot. Face it, even with good talent it’s hard to get to the SECCG and even harder to the playoffs. If he doesn’t make it next year he will get sick of the bandwagon Bama fans whining. I think he’ll be gone after 2020. How many yachts can you ski behind anyway?
