Riley Ferguson Two Sport Star

This video was taken at his grandfathers house who lives near Johnson City Tn. I spoke with his grandfather last week and he told me about Riley making the shot. He told me that Riley has only lost 2 football games as a starter since 7 th grade. Very nice family.

No wonder bUTch was waiting with the redshirt. He didn't want RF losing any games with the crappy defense we had. Next year will begin his reign of not losing but 2 games in the next 3 yrs!

Ferguson is pretty much our last hope. The rest of our QBs are pretty sorry.

The title of the video is a little misleading. The title says, "Riley scores 2." I am not sure what league they are playing basketball in, because they is definitely 3 point range.

The future of TN Football. He and his family are orange blooded volunteers - how can you not want this guy leading our team back!

Video was shot a year ago... but yeah, he was thinner back then.

Yeah I was kinda wondering why it was just posted given its age. It's a neat trick shot but that wasn't a good football throw other than showing altitude and natural understanding of geometry/angles (which hopefully translates to hitting our receivers sooner or later). But it was a throw made to hit the shot. RF obviously knows how to nail a football into a BBall hoop from a distance and likely knows how to best all kinds of carnie games like those darn milk jugs and the bottle ring game and THAT is all kinds of impressive, imo (only half joking about the carnie game bit). This trick shot shows a work ethic and a lot of self-practice just to hit a shot like that as it appears this was something the family wanted to see again and record ahead of time rather than a lark.

And as others have already pointed out, it was an obvious 3-pointer but the title comes from the vid poster which is RF's uncle. Maybe his uncle doesn't follow basketball?

So, if receivers drop passes..that means the QB is sorry?
are you looking at completion ratio stats or watch the games?

Not hard to understand but I'll try make it even simpler:

1. It's a year old.
2. It's a good trick shot. That shows an understanding of geometry/angles. Trick shots are neat and I'm jealous that he probably knows how to defeat those blasted rings and milk jug games.
3. Hopefully the knowledge of angles translates in his passing game to football. QBs must target and understand where a ball will land.
4. It's three-pointer not a two-pointer.
