Threw 6 Tds for Memphis tonight in a 77-3 spanking of Bowling Green. I'm proud that the kid found him a home and is lighting it up.That being said I'm glad we got Dobbs

Him and Peterman both have found a niche and I wish them nothing but success unless they're playing us of course

I'm happy for Riley. He seems to have matured. We forget these guys are just young pups... they have no clue how fortunate they are to have these blessings, gifts. Hope he takes full advantage of his second chance.

Riley has openly admitted several times that he blew his chances here and that UT was a a special place.

Some 18 year olds aren't ready for college, let alone being a signal caller on top of that. Glad he's matured and has a good thing going

SIAP, but glad to see him having success at Memphis. They are 3-0 and he has thrown for 843 yds, 11 TDs and 2 ints. I like seeing guys that transfer out of UT for whatever reason, especially playing time, living their dream at other schools. Good for him.

and Peterman has done well at Pitt. Actually, I don't know how he's fared this year--but last year he threw 20 TD passes (vs. 8 INTS) and was second in the ACC in completion percentage. A good year. He threw four TDs against Louisville.

Just saw that UNC beat pitt by one on Saturday, scoring with two seconds left. The UNC QB threw for 453 yards against pitt! Nice pass defense. Peterman was 14-18--the panthers ran the ball most of the day.

Especially since he admitted according to Josh Ward that he regretted leaving UT that he made a mistake. Usually if kids make the mistake of leaving they are too proud to own it.

Did Tennessee keep the right guy or should we have given more time to Nathan or Riley?

Seems like Dobbs has the worst arm but the better legs. I think the coaching staff blew the personnel decision on this for sure. They thought they could mold Dobbs to be a better thrower. They could not.

Should have been Riley all day. I don't understand how Butch can yank Worley or Nate and automatically give Dobbs the castle but won't yank dobbs any for this horrendous season.

At least Riley could pass accurately as a freshman.

No doubt that Ferguson is the best passer of the three; terrific arm and seems to have grown up a lot since his departure. But he left of his own accord.

Just weeks before Ferguson left, the Chattanooga paper reported that Ferguson and Worley “had separated themselves from Josh Dobbs and Nathan Peterman.”

“I was battling with Justin Worley and Josh Dobbs was actually behind me,” said Ferguson. “I just left on my own.” The decision exasperated Don Ferguson, Riley’s father, who urged his son to give it some more time.

Riley Ferguson: From Tennessee Vol to fence builder to Memphis QB

Current passing efficiency rankings
18th: Peterman (152.3)...1,519 yards, 12 TDs, 3 INTs
33rd: Ferguson (146.0)...2,278 yards, 17 TDs, 8 INTs
69th: Dobbs (129.7)...1,686 yards, 15 TDs, 11 INTs
