I know they have been retooling it pretty hard and all (with an iphone hacker behind the code no less 🙄), but I found it funny that for the last week or so, all the heavily trending topics has 1 likes, and sometime didn't even exist when you searched it.

We want them to have fact checking technology. How do you think we get them to stop snake oil salesman and people perpetuating wives tales to rank at the top of medical searches? Do you know how messy results would be if they didn't spend $ millions on this knowledge?

And here's the kicker....Google isn't even managing the research. This will be managed by 165 global fact checking services....

The irony about using the incitement of violence excuse to ban Ye because he said and shared some things that the Jewish community would find offensive is that a handful of people who overwhelmingly claim to be Jewish (by either religion or people which is another problem in itself) have made a lot of money over the last few decades promoting gangsta rap to the black community which has been a direct incitement to violence. Yet, I assume all of those artists and their managers still have access to their Twitter accounts to continue to push that garbage.
