That a centralized government was absolutely essential and that natural rights had to be taken within the context of the common good.
Press Briefing by Press Secretary Jen Psaki, April 25, 2022 | The White House
What I can tell you as a general matter: No matter who owns or runs Twitter, the President has long been concerned about the power of large social media platforms, what they ha- — the power they have over our everyday lives; has long argued that tech platforms must be held accountable for the harms they cause. He has been a strong supporter of fundamental reforms to achieve that goal, including reforms to Section 230, enacting antitrust reforms, requiring more transparency, and more.
Barack Obama said social media is 'turbocharging some of humanity's worst impulses' and called for reform to Section 230
Ugh…. One of the most dangerous ideals in the history of man
“Thomas Jefferson was too stupid to understand Jimmy Carter’s greatness” - Luther probablyI love it when you speak in broad , sweeping generalizations, to avoid having to answer what you already know . He was in favor of a SMALL , FRUGAL , centralized government for foreign affairs mainly and was STRONGLY opposed to Hamilton and the federalists because he feared that a large centralized government would take away the states/ peoples rights and power . Heres a peek into his thoughts …

Edit : I could see you and Hamilton being buds and trying to come up with a plan to increase the size of the government over a pint of ale , but you and Jefferson would have NEVER been besties .![]()
Not in the least.
Is there something he said that you or anybody else disagrees with?
When "family values" people express concern over what is on radio or television they are told to turn it off or change the channel. When they are concerned over movies and pornography they are told to not buy.Press Briefing by Press Secretary Jen Psaki, April 25, 2022 | The White House

$5 bucks says Biden can’t open the app. When "family values" people express concern over what is on radio or television they are told to turn it off or change the channel. When they concerned over movies and pornography they are told to not buy.
When liberal politicians are concerned about free speech contained in a private company we must hold that company accountable. We must reform. There must be transparency.
I say if Biden doesn't like it, he can delete the app.
So he said nothing you disagree with. The hypocrisy is using this horrible thing that needs more government oversight when it’s advantageous to your political agenda , then when you are termed out you suddenly become aware of its shortcomings and want to “ fix it “ . He’s well known for his hypocrisy though ( how long did he spend bashing wall street fat cats then run to them for paid speaking engagements) so I’m not surprised at all .
There have always been regulations about what is on radio and television. When "family values" people express concern over what is on radio or television they are told to turn it off or change the channel. When they are concerned over movies and pornography they are told to not buy.

There's a simple solution. Delete it.It would be a shame to see Twitter overrun by conspiracy theorists like Reddit was in 2018 by the Q Anon nuts. Twitter was a better platform than that for a long time. I don't see how it's avoidable now. It's pretty clear that it's not going to be moderated anymore and will become a free-for-all.
The last people on planet earth we should listen to express concern over misinformation are politicians. Their whole career is misinformation.the irony is that the people complaining most loudly about how we need protection from "misinformation" are spreading misinformation when they claim Musk intends to have no rules and no moderation on Twitter.
So he said nothing you disagree with.
Social media has changed just a tad since 2008. I see no hypocrisy whatsoever in his positions then and now.
