Was just over at TD's--their mood seems to be the game is in question because of the weather.

If the VOLS flew in--doubt if they could get out because of the weather. I don't think Sunday will be an option because of the still lingering weather.

Some weather models are predicting it will turn in over land and park itself over the La-Tex line.

I'd hate to see them start looking at playing on Sunday or Monday because then you get a short week for the next game. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do though.

The more I look at the forecasts, it really looks like Baton Rouge will be OK as far as getting any of the bad stuff . . . just heavy rain and some wind. Still going to present some adverse circumstances getting in and out of there. If they decide to play, we may be looking at some long bus rides.

Has anyone heard anything official about and announcement? The only news I have is from Jeff Jacobe from this mornings sports show. He was trying to contact Hamilton, but I haven't been able to check up on that yet.

Rita keeps missing all of the NHC's forecast points to the north, so it's becoming more probable that the center crosses the TX/LA border. They would be wise to go ahead and call the game off.

On "tigerdroppings" they honestly think that TN wants to call the game b/c they are scared to play in "a little bit of rain".  Are they serious?  Have they not seen the size of this thing?  The winds alone are going to be in the 50mph range in BR during the day.  How can you even think that a plane could land in that mess?  How are we supposed to get the team to BR safely?  Tough call on this one.

These are LSU fans we are talking about....

This is a bigger storm than Katrina, and if it come close to LA, BR will be even more full of evacuees than it is now.

Hopefully like Volman said it will just be a rainy night....

the projected path is to hit Galvaston, TX. The entire city is being evacuated and they are not sticking this one out.

Good luck to everyone in the way of the storm. Hoping it isnt too bad by the time it hits Austin. They are projecting it to be a class 1 by the time it gets here with 90+ winds. Only a prediction.

Anyone one want ACL tickets? lol
